One 60-day voyage through the Land Down Under was terminated in the wake of the fatal incident of an older female passenger who was stranded by the ship on a isolated island.

The elderly woman had been hiking on Lizard Island with shipmates from the Coral Adventurer, but separated from the excursion for a rest. The liner left without her and returned later that day after the personnel became aware the lady was missing.
